Lack Of Updates

Sorry for the lack of updates, i broke my finger :P yes i know my finger... but it really hurts so its starting to get better but just wanted to let you know why.

I'm really bored right now and I'm looking through quotes I love :P (yes i'm a dork). So have any of you heard of the show One Tree Hill? Well if you haven't there is obviously something wrong with you :P just kidding, kind of :P. Well it's the most amazing show ever and it has the most AMAZING quotes in it, so I thought I would share some of them with you :P they will brighten your day :D so enjoy them and please watch the show (if you haven't seen it start at season 5, its a goodddd season)

Drugstore Lipgloss VS High End Lipgloss

Ok, so i decided I'm not going to do another LOTD today but instead I'm going to do my first set of swatches :D YAAYY :P lol. The title is pretty self explanatory but I probably have to elaborate a bit more, so I had an idea to compare the two types of lipglosses to see if it's really worth buying high end stuff. This is what I came up with:

High End:
(Bare Minerals: Berry, Pandora: Faith, MAC Cremesheen Glass: Partial To Pink, Clinique Super Moisturizing Gloss: Black Honey)

Drugstore:

(Smackers Lip Sparkler: Cotton Candy Clouds, Maybelline Shiny-Licious: Berry-Bella, Victoria Secret Beauty Rush,

Rimmel Vinyl Stars)

I found that it actually REALLY is worth it to buy high end glosses :P heres why:

- Drugstore glosses are VERYYY sticky, like really sticky :P

- they aren't as pigmented, where as high end products are extremely pigmented

- Packaging isn't as nice

So there you have it, those are just three of the reasons I prefer high end lipglosses over

drugstore lipglosses. Some of my other reasons where silly :P (like for instants I just like MAC)

Plumeria Flower (MUG contest look)

Ok so srry I didn't post a LOTD yesterday (i was super busy :P) but there is a new weekly challenge on makeup geek and this is my interpretation of it, the only bad thing is my camera makes the colors much less vibrant then they really are :(. Oh, and I'll most likely be posting another LOTD today since I missed yesterdays. P.S. srry for my horrendous eyebrows :P my mom's away and she took the tweezers with her :P

Newest MAC Collection: Trip

It's TRIPPY, TRIPPY, TRIPPY!!! So today MAC released their newest collection: Trip. It's basically all palettes, which makes me SOO happy :D it also has two brush sets.

The first is a basic brush set, it comes with a black and white makeup bag and the brushes include 129SE, 190SE, 224SE, 242SE, and 266SE. The second is an advance set it also comes with a black and white makeup bag, the brushes include 168SE, 187SE, 212SE, 219SE, and the 275SE.

This collection also comes with two eyeshadow palettes, neutral eyes palette and cool eyes palette, two eyes & cheek palettes, neutral and bronze, and two lip palettes, neutral and warm.

The last thing this collection has to offer is personally my favorite part the lip sets, they have three of these sets. Each set includes a white and black mini makeup bag two lipsticks and a sample size lipglass. The first set is coral lips, it comes with Festivity and Eager lipsticks and a lipglass in Prrr . The second set is rose lips, it comes with Mischievous and Fresh Moroccan lipsticks and a lipglass in Mouthwatering. The last set is pink lips (yay pink :P), it comes with Creme de la Femme and Flashtronic lipsticks and a lipglass in Heartthrob.
